Got my renewal notice for yeen.host being 103.18 next year in February gonna see what domain provider I can swap to lower that cost. Probably gonna swap to Cloudflare instead of name cheap. Might as well put everything onto that.

Update to furry.watch and yeen.host -ing. Just got backup power for the servers is on the way to cut costs even more 6kwh in total next on the list is to get solar panels with my tax return to be net zero for power usage. This should be arriving around the 11th of December.

All services are down currently due to a cloudflare outage. We do not have an estimate time of recovery currently but it says a fix has been implemented

Furry.watch is back online we had an outage while I was sleeping due to a power brick that supplied my fiber ont frying. Everything should be up and running now.

Updates for furry.watch will now show on the top of the website for all to see since I know some do not use Bluesky for things.

As of Today we have a 1kwH backup power that will last till the end of an power outage. We also have a generator as well to keep it all charged. This will be for Furry.watch and Yeen.host clients/servers. Big special thanks to @notsafefromwolves.bsky.social supporting this project tremendously!💙

Internet is down due to a fiber line cut and backup service is currently not available. I am very sorry I do not have a estimate of when this will be back online. Furry.watch is currently down as a result.

Bug fixed : Strict button was causing mobile to have issues with sorting options. This has been fixed and should be pushed out shortly to the servers. <3

New update for report system making it easier to report if you are to report it to me then report it out to twitch. Checking usernames before submitting ( If they are currently suspended it will not have an option for submission due to twitch already taking them out )

Anyone currently dealing with being blocked from bluesky reach out I'll setup a VPN for bypassing restrictions. The plan is to expand VPN connection for all users on my services just can't fully justify it for a full access to speeds till I have more of my equipment setup for this sorta demand.

Unfortunately, Bluesky is unavailable in Mississippi right now, due to a new state law that requires age verification for all users. While intended for child safety, we think this law poses broader challenges & creates significant barriers that limit free speech & harm smaller platforms like ours.

We had a small outage on furry.watch I will need to do some backend testing to make sure this doesn't happen again.

We just hit 200 streamers on the site woo! Everything is still functional as well so that's a plus.

Currently the highest rainfall in kansas city history is happening. Also I heard the transformer outside blow though luckily had no issues on our side since it is a separate transformer we use. If an outage happens then Furry.watch should still be working since we have api still even during outages.

yeen.host got an update since I fucked up the last update since I didn't realize I used the wrong resolution for the site since I was looking at it from my macbook.

All clean! Services should be starting to start back up now.

I got home a little late so this will be starting at 9AM CST.

Website update : While on the site, it will now auto-load all streams currently live, but only the streams that are showing will be loaded when you scroll down, it will disable those streams and load the new ones. Since not every stream is being loaded in the background it should use less ram.

Website Update : Signup page now is streamlined since I feel this should have been how it was originally to make sure no typos can possibly happen. As an example nocturnz instead of their display name being Nocturnz. This login scope only asks for email permissions to receive your username.

A mandatory server cleaning will be scheduled here on the on the 15th at 8AM CST. This cleaning will take approximately 30 minutes to an hour. Afterwards everything should be Online. These services will be impacted : Virtual Machines for clients and Streaming Tools like HLS and RTMP hosting.
