Columbus Metropolitan Library workers are proud of their jobs, proud of their co-workers, and proud of their union! They began wearing union pins this week as they continue to organize for their union election later this spring!

Making sure I can still run 5 miles (Spoiler alert: I can). I took a slight detour off the path tonight to swing by the land we bought in Union Cemetary. I don't know why, but I get a perverse thrill in running over the place I expect to be buried. Like, "Not today!"

Via a friend who works at the central library 🫡🤘

You know what didn't need to be moved online or mediated by an app? Ordering food for carryout. Calling a restaurant and telling the person who answered what you wanted worked really, really well. The Chinese place in my neighborhood still operates like that, but they're the exception.

We sort of have a place in Paris. I won't name it, because I can't recommend it. The food is pretty average and the service isn't always the warmest. Still, we know what to expect and sometimes no surprises are exactly what you need when traveling. The older locals seem OK with with it too.

Last night the clouds rolled out and left a crisp, clear evening behind.
