The trails in Hocking Hills were in great shape today. I was worried about some combination of ice/snow/mud, but there was little of that at all. And we had the place pretty much to ourselves! This is the Lower Falls, which can be found along the Old Man's Cave trail. Just spectacular.

Slightly different vibe tonight, but still plenty of holiday flair. We're staying at the Hocking Hills State Park Lodge for a short winter getaway. Highly recommend. Tutti says take advantage of the outdoor hot tub!

We enjoyed dinner at the Lockview last night and then walked across the street to watch the people skating at Lock 3 Park. According to JD Vance Akron's downtown is a place where lawlessness is allowed to run wild. Has he even been to Akron? Its downtown is super chill and super community centered.
