I'm playing Ghost of Yotei, our son is playing Ghost of Tsushima. It's not the right kind of Ghost for spooky season, but I'll allow it.

I mean, I didn't not not cry in the front row of the small-town football stadium when our daughter cheered during her last halftime homecoming game.

I have rolled credits for Hollow Knight: Silksong and have moved into Act 3. Unsure if I'll be writing a full review, but after almost 48 hours it's easy to say this is a 10/10. I can't wait to dig into whatever else this game has left.

The Lowdown just started, and I can already tell I'm in love. I loved Sterlin Harjo's Reservation Dogs. I might dislike OK (KS-born), it's hard to deny Reservation Dogs told a great, small-town Midwest story. I'm invested with this neo-noir take. And Ethan Hawke is fucking here!

We're back with more to talk about. For me, finishing Doom The Dark Ages and Clair Obscur Expedition 33 were my biggest talking points. Great fucking games.

Finished Doom: The Dark Ages. Hell of a game. Pun hella intended. The "stand and fight" gameplay id tried to push before release really wasn't what the game was, and I'm completely okay with that. For a guy who never finished Doom 2016, I really liked this game a lot. Beautiful, fast, brutal.

I have beaten Claire Obscur: Expedition 33. If you're not a JRPG fan (I'm not) I still think you should play this game. Amazing story, well-written characters, wild locations, and a great combat system. Holy shit, what a fucking game, dude. I'll have more to say later elsewhere.
