Just had an awesome weekend at 2 Belgian parks, first a day at Bellewaerde and today at Plopsaland Belgium / De Panne. So from unique and funky rides to one of the best coasters in the world. I’m exhausted but I’d do it again.

Man, this weekend was the first time I went to an opening day of a park, and in Walibi’s case, the opening of 2 new rollercoasters. Absolutely enYOYed the rides and the atmosphere. These rides are just pure fun with how they interact.

Pog, I've been somewhat considering an action cam for a little while now, but felt it'd be too much 'for the meme' (and as such, expensive) But recently I've been dabbling into taking a niche completely different from gaming more serious and... now I've ordered a GoPro with a chest + hand mount 😅

A bit of an impromptu visit yesterday to Walibi Holland to close out the year of theme parks for me, and I absolutely love what they have done for their Christmas event. Definitely worth the visit! Also an Untamed night ride is always worth it, and my first glimpse of YOY 🥹

I haven't had as much time as I've wanted to to play Path of Exile 2, but man, I'm dying a lot more than I thought I would. For reference, I'm only level 13, but some mobs just melt me. Like the poison crabs in the Hunting Grounds. Still, I'm having a blast. Building my monk around lightning

Pretty stoked for the Path of Exile 2 Early Access, ngl. As I'm also really new to Path of Exile 1 still, it's going to be an as-blind-as-can-be experience for me. Still debating a bit whether I'll play Monk or Mercenary, but I think it'll be Monk.

Geez, exercising again the past few days helped a ton in the diet. Normally I'd want to try going to the gym 3 times a week, but with how hectic things have been, I haven't really had the time. I did go last saturday and yesterday, and bam, weight went down to 95.3. 8.5 kgs down from my start

Also, apparently building a new couch burns quite some calories. I'm now down to 96 on the dot, so closing in on the 8 kilo's lost since starting the diet 😄 Gotta make sure I don't get too fat for rollercoasters! ...and to reduce snoring and improve general health, ofc :P

It has been a few days! From having an upset stomach to receiving IKEA boxes throughout the week... last weekend I've disassembled and trashed the old couch and built up the new one. Quite a bit more seating space and some storage. It took quite some effort, but the result is worth it!

But at least there have been some good things this week as well; - I've been on a diet for 2 months and hit the 7kg milestone on thursday, going from 103.7 to 96.6kg. A bit more to go :) - Apparently I've now hit 69 coasters ridden with my recent Movie Park Germany trip. Shame #69 was The Bandit 😅

Man, work has been absolute mess this week, with restructuring teams not working out (who'd have thunk). I'm normally relatively easy-going with these things, but I've also had to put my foot down before they make my work much harder than it has to be.

On that note, Monster Hunter Wilds beta was... wild. This is looking like a good next step for the Monster Hunter franchise, and I can't wait to get started with that time-sink in February :D I'm just missing the zipping around from Rise, but I guess a more grounded approach isn't bad 😂

I've already posted about it on Twitter, but I guess I will here as well; I'll be trying to break the mold on my content / streaming with Planet Coaster 2 releasing. It combines 2 of my passions, so what better way to get over that mental barrier by starting to stream building theme parks.
