Drawing aside... today I realized how horrible I feel cycling through apps on my phone these days, bc it feels like everything is making me angry. I feel like I need to take an extended social break or at least... cut down on the amount of time I visit certain apps

Btw I'm proud of all of them <3 I just find it interesting when I finish a drawing there always seems to be an odd timeout on my brain for a while before I can pick up a drawing tool again. It's usually about 24h for smaller illustrations and a week for bigger ones

Also the advice to "practise more" works much better when you're drawing something you actually want to draw. I've improved more in my drawing of hands by drawing people in poses that use different hand poses vs. doing hand pose studies of different disembodied hands

Flexing my full-body anatomy muscles by drawing more full-body poses vs. Recognizing that my A5 sketchbook is too small to comfortably draw full-body poses (with detail) and I thrive with bigger drawings 🥲
