First display of the year.

Got my set of books from @glsen.bsky.social for my library today. End of the school year means students won’t get to check out till August, but so glad to have them!!

End of the year displays in my library. Up for a couple weeks then down for the summer. Only 4 and a half more days with students and teachers, then 5 more in the library for me. No summer school for me this year.

April’s display came down today. National poetry month with posters for our teachers’ favorite poems!!

Missed a couple months worth of displays! March was Black History Month and green books to be pinch proof!!

First night of spring break trip to New Orleans with my mom. Saw a wedding parade and got some flowers they threw. First meal at Pat O’Briens and had a hurricane to drink!

Forgot to share my December displays with how crazy that month always is. But here’s my first one of January. Got the idea from searching library images online as well as some cool letters and graphics found on Etsy. Easy to just pull blue cover books. #schoollibrarydisplay #schoollibrarian

I also did a quick No-vember display. After some stressful times for me, thought it was good for students to think about self care too.

Working on my February Valentine’s Day display with a bit of a Taylor Swift/Chiefs vibe in honor of our team going to the Super Bowl. Not sure I’m completely done though.

My January library display featured the books we have in our library that I enjoyed last year!

My current read is an ARC I got at AASL last month. Really good so far! Love thanksgiving break with extra time for reading!!

So I'm new. Got here from an invite from a fellow school librarian or two! Excited for a new place to hang out and talk books and stuff! Not sure what to say yet. Must get into the hang of using this other than just reading what everyone else is saying!
