Not impressed by Doom The Dark Ages on a technical level so far. I swear almost none of the settings have any impact on performance and the only way I can get above 60fps is by enabling a ton of upscaling and turning it into a blurry mess. And this is with a 4070 Super and a 5700X.

Did more game dev today and it does feel nice just using the first solution that comes to mind no matter how hacky. The scope is small enough that I can live with garbage code as long as it works. Surely I will not regret this later.
