Looking at the MGS Delta performance reports on PS5 and oof... Maybe it somehow runs better on PC. High resolution and framerate are by far the most important technical things when it comes to nice looking games, I'd argue that the Doom remaster is more pleasant to look at than the Oblivion one.

Spotify has become completely unusable for discovering new music. AI slop machines tagging real bands in their vomit to get visibility is just disgusting.

Not impressed by Doom The Dark Ages on a technical level so far. I swear almost none of the settings have any impact on performance and the only way I can get above 60fps is by enabling a ton of upscaling and turning it into a blurry mess. And this is with a 4070 Super and a 5700X.

Did more game dev today and it does feel nice just using the first solution that comes to mind no matter how hacky. The scope is small enough that I can live with garbage code as long as it works. Surely I will not regret this later.

I solved it? I was not ready for this, now I got to start working on the actual game part of the game.

Finally looked at a Godot game dev thing again after not having touched it in a year. Still stuck on the same problem that stumped me back then but at least the code looks a little neater so I might one day solve it.

@ioi.dk New York challenge pack in WoA when? It literally does not have enough challenges to level up Mastery all the way. For some reason in Hitman 3 the level cap was raised from 15 to 20 but no new challenges were added or old ones adjusted to compensate for the change.

Great video about speedrun routing, which is the interesting part of speedrunning. Summarizing the competition from one team's perspective made for a very good watch.

Registered to ESA Summer, like every year. Just gotta think of something I can submit, ideally more along the lines of last year's showcase than a normal speedrun.
