Last night I watched this programme called “Birdgirl” on BBC Alba hence the Gaelic title. It was presented by Caitlin a Birdwatcher from Glasgow, who travels to different places in Scotland, It was a great programme and is now available on BBC IPlayer if you want to watch it.

From Wednesday I forgot to post what I saw. Wednesday marked my last Birding outing before Christmas but the birds came out for me. My sightings were Woodpigeon Long Tailed Tit Blue Tit Magpie Blackbird Robin Nuthatch Great Tit Crow Jay

My Birding outings may be done for the year but I still have things lined up. I’ll be taking part in The National Robin Day Birdwatch on the 21st and on 31st & 1st I’ll be logging down my last & first bird of the year.

I heard one earlier but was great to see a Jay eating an acorn.

It is nice & peaceful here today bush usually means more birds are visible.

It really has been ages since I’ve been out Birding 28th October was my last outing bit since then not had a chance due to bad weather so it’s nice to be able to return to my local patch. I have already seen Woodpigeon, Long Tailed Tit, Blue Tit & Magpie.
