i had my first weight loss management appointment today and you could not have better engineered it to be demotivating imagine somebody sitting there, listing every single one of my GOALS i had in terms of habits i want to develop, and then saying "so this is what i want you to start with for now"

something about 2026 has really been getting me to shift in how I'm treating my health, and it started so slow just with me finally dealing with some dental issues at the start of 2025 and kept building tiny step by step until the past couple months potentially being a watershed

it is pretty wild feeling, with how many stories I've heard out there of people being ignored or brushed off, to go to a psychiatrist finally and say "this is what everybody and my therapist thinks is wrong" and to have them say "yes, correct, that is what's wrong" like. oh. okay
