Anyone else disappointed with Kinew's statements on CBC last night? I understand he's trying to appeal to the widest set of voters possible, I just wish he'd been more explicit in his support of 2SLGBTQ+ during the question on "parental rights", instead he framed it as a topic to be discussed.

We saw who was throwing rocks. We saw the kids making gun signs at us. We saw the thousands of people marching, yelling. Calling us groomers. We were there. And we chanted "go home bigots" We told them "don't use your children as props" We said "Trans lives matter".

I'm so proud of our community and allies for standing up for what's right, but this felt more like "holding the line" than it did a victory.
