One of my favourite walks. And every time we walk it's a different type of talk. Monday was planning Christmas. Today was about the John reading from morning prayer.

Today I took part in Dementia friends training. It was really eye opening to understand how to support someone living with dementia.

The appointment of the next Archbishop of Canterbury takes a step forward this month, with candidates being interviewed by the Crown Nominations Commission. Please pray for those called to interview, for the members of the CNC, and for all the staff involved.

Had my first weekend residential at Mirfield. Just amazing to be with all new and returning ordinands. To build community and worship together. A wonderful weekend in beautiful grounds

At the open day at @sthild.org Wills offered some advice and one of them was to get a wall planner. Well Wills I did it and my study area is ready. Wall planner, pens, notepads and plenty of prayer

Today marked my final Sunday with Holy Trinity. Tomorrow I begin a new season as I train as an ordinand. When I first joined HT I said I didn't want to be involved in anything just. How God changed that. It feels a little scary today. HT is a safe place but I trust God and a new season begins

A mixture of emotions today as I had my final day as Children and Families worker for TYCP. I have LOVED every day of my time, but as a Christian i belive God has a call on my life and it's time to take the next step.

Final trip of summer for TYCP (and my final trip as Children and families worker). We went to the beach! One mum said she hasn't been to the beach for 4 years. Another trip where we create a base. We take buckets and spades, footballs, Frisbee and we get everyone fish and chips. Building community

One of my favourite trips with TYCP is to Swainby. The church open their doors to us and it's amazing. We walk to the old church and do activities and then back down for lunch. The children love paddling in the stream and this year we toasted marshmallows

In the last week I've been recommended for training and today I've passed my driving test. Definitely entering into a new season for me and my family

Today in breakfast church we looked at the call of the disciples when Jesus said Follow me. We thought about what the disciples left behind, jobs, security, family. As I announced to my church that I have been recommended for training and will begin training as an ordinand in September.

First TYCP trip of the summer. Preston park. 21 families. 70 people. Packed lunches and a shed load of games. We are very excited. It's a great way of building relationships and coming alongside families while allowing them to explore new places

As a church we had a celebration and send forth for Bridget today. Releasing her into retirement. The children read a poem and the adults prayed for her. A great afternoon

End of year services with North Ormesby primary Academy this week. They aren't a church school but we have a brilliant relationship and they love coming to church. I love reading this story to encourage them that Jesus is with them through the happy and sad times at school and everywhere

I've really valued the encounter group I've been with these past few years. Tonight I was able to ask those who have recently had their stage 2 BAP questions but most importantly I was able to reflect on my own journey and the importance of joining a group online monthly to talk, discover and pray

Our house hasn't got space for a room to study. The computers been on the dining table for months, meaning it had to be moved a lot. Today we bought a desk off Market place that gives me a set place to study in the dining room. #feelinggrownup

One of the best places I talk about my faith is when I get my nails done. It's my monthly treat ane the 2 girls who work there only know about Catholic churches. They both love asking questions. I didn't realise till today but I genuinely look forward to seeing them

Walked up to Captain cooks monument this evening. There's a bench so far up to get this view. Honestly just breathtaking some of the views we see when walking

Being a children and families worker can be lots of fun. We run Open gardens during holidays where we get loads of toys and crafts out. Today though in Open Garden I sat with a mum who'd been at a funeral this morning and so together we sat and built with magnetic shapes and talked.

Thanks to funding we are able to take 14 families to Tweddle Farm. North Ormesby is the 3rd most deprived parish in England.
