Gonna be honest: I don’t really care for the direction of the newest Zeldas. Not that the games aren’t great, they’re just not what I love about the series. I know people will argue with me but I miss more linear experiences.

The further I get into DOOM The Dark Ages, the less I like it. 2016 and Eternal are much better.

Finally finished Act II of Expedition 33 and I just have more questions than answers. This game is incredible though. Highly, highly recommend.

I’m just gonna say it I don’t like Donkey Kong’s redesign

I’m not loving Doom The Dark Ages like I hoped I would. The upgrades aren’t exciting and I feel like they want you to play in a way that’s counterintuitive. I miss glory kills too. Nothing less satisfying than blasting a demon and then just lightly tapping him with your shield. So far, it’s eh.

There’s no better high than when you fully parry a long attack in Expedition 33

I thought the Switch 2 Direct was fantastic. I’m thoroughly impressed by just about everything we saw. Prices do suck, but that’s where we’re at in the world and it’s sadly only going to get worse. Not going to stop me from making a Day 1 purchase though.

First impressions of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, my first AC game: -Naoe’s actress cannot act, at all -Music is on point -Game feels a bit like it’s from 2014 -Graphics are not great (but I’m also playing on a Series S) -So far, I’m not captivated I do hope it gets better though!

Daredevil was so damn good. Can’t believe it’s back. Cannot wait for more!

I downloaded like 10 demos and added like 15 games to my wishlist from Steam Next Fest. I love video games.

Finally finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Solid translation of Indy into the video game world, even if everything about it didn’t work perfectly. Definitely gets a recommendation from me though! What should I play next?

Sadly, LEGO Horizon Adventures just doesn’t have the stuff. The levels are one-note and repetitive, there’s nothing to explore, barely anything to build, and the combat is bland. It’s missing all the heart of other LEGO games and the ingenuity of the Horizon franchise.
