Gintama - Yoshiwara in Flames I don’t get how this show is as consistent as it is. This arc in particular delivers on some FUCKING AMAZING fights, it had a really good set up at the start setting the stage for what’s to come. The climax is also just spectacular. Can’t wait for the remake

Gintama - Shinsengumi crisis arc Yeah no this arc once again is just a blast to get through, fun fights, still a bit unserious and takasugi was present which was cool

From Death to Destiny - Asking Alexandria I thought this was gonna be a heavier album than Reckless & Relentless which was my favorite album by them. It is in fact not heavier. However Danny sounds like fuckin Rob Zombie on this record 😭 Still enjoyable tho

I beat xc2 btw, good game

Having played up to chapter 7 in 5 days. Most complaints I had still apply, I still HATE the navigation system and the whole concept of field skills. Aside from that its an amazing game but these 2 things I mentioned just kill the pacing

Rebirth of Souls is so good holy hell man. Aside from the pc version being doodoo, once it works its so good

XC2 is definitely more enjoyable now since I actually know what I’m doing but some complaints I had still kind of apply, like the navigation system being horrible and some of the story being a slog

I was never a big fan of Knocked Loose, I knew the songs counting worms and suffocate. I tried listening to this album 2 times before turning it off. Now I’ve finally sat through the whole 27 minute album and fuck man. I get why this is praised beyond hell. Its AMAZING

One Piece - Romance Dawn Arc (manga) Its been a whole 3 years since I originally experienced this arc but is was through a completely different medium. Seeing this arc in its original glory makes me appreciate it way more in the manga. Solid introduction

One Piece Episode of East Blue (with @thecookiegamer.bsky.social ) Its a decent retelling of the original east blue saga from the One Piece anime. The structure is a bit messy because it doesn’t really go in order but jesus fuck this animation was a treat for the eyes.

Finally watching episode 1001 of One Piece. We stay grinding
