so the antibiotics may or may not be working on whatever this is, dunno. not exactly knocking my chest congestion down but it does seem like it's sorta.. changing. doesn't feel the same as it did a few days ago, more productive coughing. just feel shitty. still low grade fever and malaise.

gonna be spending this antibiotics week drawing since i'll be lucid and unfatigued have some stuff

oncologist suspected i may be developing pneumonia so he has me on antibiotics. this has delayed treatment by a week which only slightly complicates some other things. better to be safe than sorry but as much as i was dreading doing another course i was kinda disappointed. 😅

So tired the last couple of days. It's like the end of course 1 where I had all this fatigue out of nowhere when I just wanted to spend a couple of good days drawing. Now at the end of course 2 I'm feeling it again. It beats all those other effects but damn, I gotta be conscious to do stuff. 😐

i had a dream the other day that i found a comic on here. four pages, minimal panels, b&w. solid page composition. a furry character sits on a park bench in public, passers-by in the bg, with the top of his pants unbuttoned, struggling to tuck away a micro half-inserted into his dong.

up late because i conked out after dinner. but been sleeping better despite the bloating. it's slowly working out though. what i'm glad is on the way out is the fever n head-swimming haze that would hit me every now and then. so uncomfortable. when i get up later i should hopefully be good to draw.

was in bed for like 12ish hours. just felt awful. still do but i can't sleep anymore, gotta be conscious for a bit. 😬 not doing too bad, just malaise and fatigue again, worse than yesterday though. slight fever, headache, and tons of gut discomfort. still, hoping i'm alright after tomorrow.

not bad but still tough day today. last night's injection didn't hit me much at all. just sorta had malaise all day which kinda wrecked it. felt super tired and gross. one more injection though and we're clear for some weeks. looking forward to feeling kinda normal before the next cycle starts.

last night wasn't too bad, bit of a delayed reaction so i'm getting it now. still, it's milder than last time. bone spasms in the pelvic/tailbone area again, plus a tiny bit in the sternum, and a little bit of occasional sharp gut pain. bit of an assortment. i'm glad it's milder but ow, dude.

last night's injection wasn't too bad. intense frontal belly pain for about an hour and then it eased off. i'll take it. left me slightly bloated and sore all day but beats the hell out of the fevers. just had tonight's injection. will see in a few hours how that goes. just two more.

oof evil night. once it kicked in at around 3 am it was like four straight hours of full-body aches and pains, with very slight chills and fevers though those were at least easily managed. it's calmed down atm but wow, that was a shiiiiit sleep. 😓

genuinely, my light at the end of the tunnel, the one thing that keeps me moving forward and fills me with the drive i need to struggle through all this shit, is getting back to normal so i can eat some good food. so i can heal up, go out to a restaurant with a clean bill of health, and nosh.

welp, here we go again. grastofil injections start tonight for five days. pray i don't get horribly brutalized like last time. shit was exhausting and trust me i'm already in rough shape from the chemo itself. 😅 this week has been pretty challenging but hoping this goes a bit smoother. please. 🙏

had a small burger in a lettuce wrap with some usual condiments. i can taste most of em even if it is slightly odd. all flavors are sorta muted but only to a small degree. i have salt this time but it's a bit strange. sweet is similar to last time, as is savory. dunno about bitter but sour is fine.

food cravings during this are so bizarre. like i'll see a picture of a burger and be like "yeah damn i could go for a burger" but then i'll see a slightly different picture of a burger and be like "ehhhh... nah i guess i was wrong i'm not feeling it" bloat has me on a liquid diet anyway so whatev

finished chemo course 2 the other day. it was accelerated due to the mild reactions i had with the first course so i was in and out in one day, only about two hours. the five-minute rituximab gut injection was lame but hey, beats sittin there for six hours.
