Long overdue Project Diarchy thoughts: Shopping mall is a neat map and a welcome addition with it's new mechanics like fuses and buying shiz. New PA is really cool, but kinda a let down since Franco is gonna be hard to top + they didn't really get an intro in their map which sucks.

Will do my full review tomorrow: but rn I really like the layout of the shopping mall, I legit feel lost which is something that I always feel in malls(especially when finding certain stores). And the trial itself does bring some interesting new mechanics; but overall is a bit on the easy side rn.

The Kress twins might be the new most annoying prime assest to deal with(Barbi is free!) and it's oddly already because of power creep. They have range that both stuns AND damages, plus they have 2 FoVs. Compare this to Coyel who just disables your rig for like 30sec...ooo scary... #TheOutlastTrials

RIP backfilling for outlast trials, she won't be missed even though she lasted 1 day. tbh, I fucking hate backfilling in any game. nothing is more annoying than joining a game that's halfway done, or legit 1min from being done when you spent 1min loading in said game anyway

So if it's just another weekly after Nostophobia is over; i think I'll start streaming my solo A+ runs again. Still not a return; but it's something, right? Hopefully, it will be a step in the right direction for me. Plus the runs offline weren't as tense via no slight peer pressure.

Was worried that Nostophobia would be boring given it's description of just "only limited bandages and batteries"; however there's alot more going on in this variant that makes it unique... -no rigs or amps(perks) -decrease health by 1 -enemies don't randomly spawn -only sound traps spawn

Haven't forgotten about this list and I'll def update it after I beat "Liquidate the Union" on psychosurgery via my usual A+ solo runs. Right now, it's def in the middle somewhere imo; it's surprisingly balanced.

Lowkey kinda sucks that the prime time variator doesn't send the prime asset towards a players location when they spawn and then patrol; it just skips to patrol. Def a big nerf to it since they're not nearly as threatening anymore; it's what kinda made the variator fun imo. #TheOutlastTrials

Imo rn, It's only worth relapsing once just for the cosmetic. It's not that losing all your perks and stuff is bad, it's just that there's a couple annoying bugs rn with it. Mainly you lose all your high score grades on the trials AND all the main trials are locked again minus KtS #TheOutlastTrials

One QoL change I love this update that has gone under the rader is that a couple of enemies(the jaeger and scapegoats) have specific icons when pinging them. I'm really hoping they add more like one for each prime asset and all other enemies. #TheOutlastTrials

Relapse update thoughs: Might be the best update to trials honestly! And it's mainly thanks to custom trials AND the ability to prestige(relapse). The Jaeger enemy is also a great addition and adds alot of anxiety in some situations given she insta kills and can't be stunned or stealthed from

Took me 33min. but I beat my first own trial(I have another one, but it's coop only 🫥). Def one of the best additions to this game by FAR! And the fact that you can share your own trial like mario maker is super fun! Might even share a few on here :3 #TheOutlastTrials

With the next big update being next week; I'ma make some quick-ish predictions. We WILL see Henrietta again in some shape or form; mainly because for having her own model and a shit ton of voice lines. It makes no sense why'd she only be in the game for just 5min. #TheOutlastTrials

Wonder if Season 3 will introduce a new rig; been kinda wishing there was a way to do coop shotcuts solo(kinda like the smash amp) and a rig that boost your adrenaline(or the adrenaline item itself) would be a cool addition. #TheOutlastTrials

SPOILERS FOR THE AMELIA EVENT CONCLUSION 🧵 Honestly kinda disappointed with the ending being a "good" ending at first glace; with the catch only being in the evidence files stating you prob got shot off screen. Kinda reminds me of Outlast 2, where the ending was misleading to what really happened

Final prediction for this Amelia conclusion. Amelia is doomed to fail. The reason being that this is a prequel and Murkoff is still doing their shady shiz; so how does she fail? My tinfoil hat tells me that the garbage disposal will break/jam with the sheer amount of reagents jumping in.
