Nearly 30 years after kidnapping the 6yr-old Panchen Lama, China is taking the fake imposter on tour to visit Nepal. This move marks the latest in China’s efforts to take control of Tibetan Buddhism by legitimizing the false Panchen Lama in the eyes of the Buddhist world.
