OSA Celebrates Black History Month.

OSA was one of several dozen unions supporting tonight's vigil that drew thousands in front of the Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare Center on East 23rd Street honoring Veterans Affairs ICU Nurse Alex Pretti who was murdered in Minneapolis by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

JOIN US. This Thursday at 5pm for a vigil at the NYC Veterans Administration Healthcare Center at 423 East 23rd Street to honor the memory of Minneapolis VA ICU Nurse Alex Pretti, an AFGE union member, executed by the Trump administration's not so secret police force.

Video of last Friday evening's rally on 1.23.26 and march in support of the workers and unions of Minnesota in their resistance to ICE assaults on both citizens and immigrants, especially in Minneapolis - St Paul.

On 1.23.26 OSA joined the rally and march supporting Minnesota unions and community groups in their day of action against ICE's assault on immigrants and citizens in Minneapolis and other Minnesota cities. Here are some of our members and staff with the OSA banner in Union Square.

We begin this week with very sad news. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved union staff member, Elba Eujaque, on Thursday, December 18th, at the age of 65. Elba joined the OSA staff in 2001 and dedicated more than 25 years of service to the union.

OSA Delegate-At-Large Iris Bailey was joined by OSA organizers Kelvin Diamond and Deborah McKeever in honoring Department of Finance employees & OSA members at an employee recognition ceremony on Wednesday.

OSA staff members joined Matt Malloy, President, and other members of the Association of Legislative Employees (ALE), at a City Hall rally urging the Council to fairly continue employing ALE members as a major change in incumbency takes place in the Council in January.
