I listened to the press conference with the atty general @keithellison.bsky.social & the mayors of StP & Mpls. It made me weep a little to see them working to protect all us Minnesotans… & for Ellison to call Trump out for being a revenge-filled piece of excrement (ok those my words lol)

True story. And it’s not like it is easy to do this work. It’s terrifying. People are out here shaking with the fear of confronting these armed thugs and still doing the work of observing, documenting, making them leave our spaces. That is bravery, that is courage.

And for all these people, there are still more people on the streets patrolling, watching for 🧊, responding when 🧊 rolls up to terrorize school kids, businesses, families, neighborhoods. We have community acting in solidarity, putting our lives on the line. That how important this is. WE ARE FAMILY.

Murderous ICE agent killed a legal observer today in Minneapolis. It was never going to be safe for white folx to side with the marginalized, with the vulnerable, but today we are reminded just how far the xenophobic, racist, white supremacists in power will go to exert their power.
