Drawing Progress Week 28: I think this thread counts as one week of progress. Gonna start trying to do value studies next year. I finally got started drawing this year after wanting to for ages and its been fun. Will continue in 2026! :D

Flowers I took an art class in middle school 15 years ago and did this for the final assignment. Didn't do so well, and tbh I think that's why I didn't pursue art further. I'd kept the canvas for 14 years, but at the end of last year I chose to throw it away. So this is a remake of it:

Last September I was working on this BIONICLE render to try and express my feelings of creative burnout. Though I never got around to finishing it and fixing the tangents, lighting, background etc. But I was messing around with some blending modes today, and I think they do the job alright.

Since progress has halted on learning to draw, I might post some things I made in Blender as I've been tryin' to learn 3D modelling as well. Been focusing on objects in my room like this woven basket chandelier and tower fan:
