Back home from my little trip to Cambridge and Oxford. 4 rolls of Ilford FP4 finished which means I have 5 to send off for developing. I was very tempted to buy a Canon FTb QL in the Oxford LCE store. It looked juicy. Buuuut... I already own a lot of cameras and had to be sensible!

6:45am and around 3°C. On the bus heading into Oxford whilst it’s still quiet to get shots in. Lovely sunny day too!

On a different note, my “new” Pentax starting malfunctioning today! The shutter was sticking open whilst I was using the self timer. Will experiment with it to see if the cold was affecting it. Definitely lost a few frames because of it ☹️

Hello film photographers of the UK? So, can anyone recommend a good place to get a Yashica D TLR repaired? I’ve found JRM Film that offers repairs, but I was wondering if there are any others.

Been playing around with my black edition Pentax SPII and I swear someone has tried to paint over the showing brass with permanent marker.

That’s the first roll of FP4 shot for today on the P17 for the #FP4Party. Also, I may have popped into Clocktower Cameras in Brighton and accidentally bought a Pentax SPII because it was the black version. Needs a little clean but all seems to work (except for the light meter).

Photography hacks #69 Use a bit of sellotape to stick a bit of the box your film came in to remind you what you have loaded in the camera. This will help you avoid accidents like opening the camera up when you’re halfway through a roll and forgot. Like I did.

Been in Brighton an hour and I already lost the lens cap for this! And it was the original cap too! On the bright side, I forgot this little camera is a GOAT camera because it has a 40mm lens.

Off to Brighton tomorrow morning. Going to donate blood there but first I’m going to spend the morning wandering around with the cameras. And yes, I will be taking some FP4+ rolls with me 😉 #FP4Party

I did an amazing thing today… I posted off the last rolls of film from my back log for developing. It’s taken me months to get this sorted but from now on, all of my rolls will be fresh out of the camera!
