Out at sea and under sail. They only maintained a slow speed of 4 knots, but it was still enjoyable. Still cool though watching them unfurl the sails.

Did a thing today and went for a little ride on Clipperbrig, Morgenstar. My first experience of a sail ship and it was a delight. I do like being on boats. And the weather was super nice!

These are SOOC RAWS (exported as JPEGS) with no editing from the OM-5 Mark II. The colours are really nice on the cameras standard settings and Auto WB (I'm lazy, shush). The OM 12-40mm f2.8 II lens is a solid performer too!

Quite happy with how this setup looks and feels. Compact, lightweight, THE best colour camera and a 35mm equivalent range of 24-80mm.

Couple of test shots with the new OM 12-40mm f2.8 II lens on the OM-5. Sooty wasn't being very photogenic this evening. Look forward to trying out the lens some more! Sharpness wide open is looking fabulous.

New toy for holiday

Off to Trondheim on Thursday and I still can’t decide whether or to take a film camera. Not sure if I can be bothered asking for the rolls to be hand checked at security because they never want to when I go through security.

Tried on my old suit this morning to see if it still fit - found a lens cap in one of the pockets. Probably been in their 2 years 😂

Only 9 days until I spent a long weekend in Trondheim. It’ll probably rain, but I don’t care, I’m there for the countryside and experiencing a cool looking city and Norway’s National Day. Might eat a lot of waffles.
