I don't like wearing glasses. It's like a TV screen. It's clear, high definition, but I feel detached, like it separates me from what I'm seeing with a protective barrier. Life becomes a lucid dream. When I remove my glasses, things are more blurry, but things feel more real. I feel more present.

The new "Borderlands 4" advert inspired me to give it a "Digital Circus" parody theme. Don't ask me why. I just wanted to see it for some reason.

I'm a native Texan. Houston is my hometown. I love being able to see some of my favorite animal forms in person, like cattle and horses... Wild hogs, bats, snakes, sharks... I love alligators too, "Bayou City!" Fellow shapeshifters, what animal forms do you like and typically associate with Texas?

Medical Update: I'm 43 days into my Ileostomy Reversal Surgery recovery. I'm back at work, but really out of necessity to keep money coming in. The biggest challenge remains overly frequent bathroom trips and pain while going. I'm trying to stay optimistic that this is temporary.

Home from the hospital and recovering, I have my first bit of artwork that I just wanted to share. On July 5th, the mood hit me HARD for wanting to experience a Fursuit Transformation. I'm not my usual fox here, though. I was going for a German Shepherd. ~I have always loved inanimate object TFs.

I have just returned home from a week in the hospital. I did not want to post more negative news after the last visit SHOULD have been it, but my bowels were not happy after the ileostomy reversal. I believe they have started to stabilize now and I can move on with my recovery.

MEDICAL UPDATE: I had my Ileostomy Reversal surgery. Good News: It was a success! Bad News: They discharged me late Monday night without meds, which caused complications overnight and had me going back in to the hospital's ER yesterday. I have my meds now and am recovering.

Tomorrow, I will be in the hospital for my "Ileostomy Reversal Surgery." This is the final surgery after a five month ordeal. I have some anxiety, but I have faith in the medical staff and I am more excited about having my life back on track again very soon. 🏥

I did not receive good news from my doctor yesterday. They are still concerned about an anomaly ( #SinusTract ) showing up on both my X-ray and CT scan. Yet even MORE testing is required... Looks like I will not be getting my Reversal Surgery until maybe the later part of June at the earliest.

I would like to post and interact more on here. I guess tonight I can give another health update. I am due for more testing mid-month, but my final surgery that will set things right should be around the 1st of June. I cannot wait to feel normal again. I am optimistic and hopeful for a green light.

New achievement unlocked? While still in recovery for my abdominal surgery, I got hit with my first kidney stone last night. It was 11 out of 10 pain. I went to the ER, not knowing if it was a kidney stone or a complication from a recent surgery. I believe it has passed now.

I'm past the last hurdle and on the home stretch for my Reversal Surgery. I can't wait to have my life return to somewhat normalcy. Trying to go about life in my body's current condition has been one of the most difficult and stressful situations that I've ever had to live with.

My only attempt at an aeromorph so far. I've been meaning to do another one for years, even went to the museum at Wright-Patterson in Ohio to take stock photos. Just never got around to it. #2014 #furry (ish) #photomanipulation

When I was in the hospital, I made sure to thank everyone who tended to me. Whether you were a surgeon, a doctor, a nurse or even someone just taking out trash real quick, I made sure to thank EVERYONE! It was important to me that everyone knew how much I appreciated their help.

Health Update: Handful of days at home, but frustratingly I have not been able to simply recover overnight. Taking things day-by-day. I continue to have trouble talking, sweat a lot when I sleep and feel weak. Just... watching Netflix and waiting for my body to come back around.

Well, that took longer than expected... After a couple of complications following surgery, I am finally home from the hospital. It took 13 days. I am very happy to be home and feeling well. I have more recovery to do at home now, approximately 3 months.

Day 3 in the hospital and I'm doing much better. No pain. I'm walking more and I have my energy back. I just remain tethered to a bunch of medical equipment still. My recovery is going real well.

The surgery went well. I am in the recovery phase now. Sore and in some pain, but I am healing well. I don't know how many days I'll be in the hospital, but I will update everyone as I can.

PERSONAL UPDATE: Soon, I will be checking myself into a hospital to have something benign removed before it becomes malignant. It may take a few days in the hospital for me to recover. I'll do my best to post updates as I can and I hope to see everyone again soon.

I enjoy the thought of being a shapeshifter who has to revert back to human in order to fit back in with a human society. Maybe no one knows that I'm a shapeshifter. Maybe my ability is extremely rare. Regardless, I know I'd dread Monday mornings, having to go back to work and be human again, #Urgh!

Everyone knows me as a fox, but I love being a shark too. Tonight, I decided to try drawing myself, as an anthro fox, slowly turning into a feral Black-Tip Reef Shark. It looks like I'm eager go for a swim in the ocean or maybe be featured for a day at your local aquarium! #Wereshark #Werefish #TF

WEEKLY UPDATE: I had colon surgery on Friday and additional surgery is needed. More artwork will be done soon and I hope to open up for commissions again by January 1st, 2025. I also came up with an epic kobold story. I want to run the idea by a few people familiar with the genre first, though.

Tonight's sketch is rare for me. I tried for a feline transformation. I usually have a strong canine bias. I do like cheetahs, though, so... Cheetah TF! Maybe this guys was running when he found himself changing. Maybe something was in his drink or... maybe this was inside of him this entire time!
