I have reached the age and level of experience where my family expects me to cook something every time they see me. Yesterday I made crawfish étouffée, fried catfish, potato salad, and sweet peas at my aunt’s house. I was not planning on doing all of that lol.

Every time I say I’m not going to any parades for Mardi Gras someone always manages to drag me out of the house. This year it’s my sister and last year was one of my best friends.
