I have retired from consuming sad media. I used to love sad books and sad movies. Then my dad died and I’ve had my fill of it.

I finally bought a new laptop. It's great. I love it. However, I also bought a new skin for said laptop, which arrived first. I have placed the skin somewhere that I CANNOT REMEMBER, and it is driving me crazy!

I worked until 8:30 last night, in an almost constant stream of back-to-back meetings/class. I have a terrible work hangover today. But at least I’ve been too busy to know what’s going on in the larger world.

I guess we’re waiting at least another week to put our houseplants outside because I see some sub-50 lows coming.

I cried at the Artemis launch because it’s so amazing to see humans carrying out such amazing feats of science (and not killing each other). Yes, I have a therapist appt this week.

I am convinced that things will be less heavy soon. They must be. Let’s ignore the fact that we have a 15 year, 3 month old dog and that J’s dad has Alzheimer’s. Things must be lighter for at least a bit!
