So, I decided to write that spicier short story featuring John taking the son of an industrialist the gang robs as a partner. It's not an aspect of writing I'm used to, but it's a scene I've been dreaming of. Icon done by @exleston.bsky.social! If you like this, check out my novels!

It was such a pleasure to work on these, by far some of the most fun character sheets I've ever done!

I dislike the trope of 'oh, I didn't know the guy I was crushing on was actually a girl; that's why I liked them, not because I'm gay!' Because: 1. It's insulting to our intelligence. 2. No, bro, you liked him because you're gay. Own it, lmao. 3. Figuring out you're gay that way is hot.

Almost through our main characters, we're now up to half of the Ace of Clubs, Beatrice Montgomery, a cruel beastess too clever by half, she's the 'nicer' half of the duo she makes up with her twin brother Beau. Done by the wonderful @exleston.bsky.social! #furry #furryart #anthro

The leader of the gang and Ace of Hearts, Jesse de Molai is the leader of the gang and John's big brother, a big reason why he left home. While protective of his family, charming, and pretty, Jesse is no less dangerous than anyone else. Art done by the wonderful @exleston.bsky.social!

The other Ace focused on in Aces High is Silas Engels, John's adoptive father, teacher, and guardian angel (in more ways than one). Soft-spoken, highly religious, and gentle, he still suffers no fools and is more dangerous than he ever lets on. Art done by the wonderful @exleston.bsky.social!

Ace's High's edits are now complete. While it is slightly different than the original (and corrects some contradictions) the story itself is unchanged. Since I don't know when/if a reprint is possible, anyone who wants a .pdf is welcome to it, especially if you have an original copy. >.>
