Ravens beat reporter for The Baltimore Banner | articles fueled by lattes or bad press box coffee
OLB Tavius Robinson just wandered into the locker room, no evident brace or cast on his foot, did a lil handshake with his boy Keaton Mitchell and then wandered back out. Keaton and Trenton Simpson have been keeping Tavius's spirits up the way he did with them thru their struggles.

After Keaton Mitchell's strong training camp, many didn't expect him to be a healthy scratch the first four games. It came as a surprise to Keaton, as well. But despite his befuddlement, he's kept his head down and kept grinding as he waited his turn:

Nate Wiggins was so convinced Jalen Nailor was out. ... He had two feet in. Earlier this game, Wiggins didn't use his arms on a tackle because he thought he pushed Nailor out, but Nailor stayed in and kept running. Nailor has 124 yards on five catches.

Lamar Jackson goes back to Rashod Bateman after he misses the first catch in the end zone. Bateman, a former Minnesota Gopher standout, snags this one for a first-down back in his college town. Those are his first two targets of the game, and they set up the Ravens first TD.

Ravens defense starts the half with a takeaway for the offense. Ravens offense responds by stalling in the red zone yet again. Ravens special teams gifts the offense with a forced fumble. Can the offense do anything with it? Such a wild flip of the script for these units.

That Lamar Jackson pass to Isaiah Likely is the perfect example of the fine line between letting Lamar work his magic and risk getting sacked vs. having him throw it away. Looked like the pocket was closing fast, but he side-stepped and found a way.

The fans were booing after that last Rams wide open touchdown. Not sure if it was to the defense for the terrible coverage or the offense who put them in a bad position by fumbling. Or for the coach, considered it was followed by āFire Harbaughā chants.
