I was fighting Google Assistant (GA) to communicate with my self hosted @home-assistant.io It was working until yesterday…. it turns out @cloudflare.social bot fighting mode was blocking legitimate GA POST requests! Again I could not have figured it out unless Claude told me what to look for.

I’m on iOS 26 beta 2, let me say that I’m really happy with CarPlay Apple Maps changes, especially the time and distance remaining info. I missed these on the current iOS, always had to use Google maps instead.

I did download more RAM on a computer I built years ago. I had physically 16GB installed and never bothered to see if it was fully recognized. All I was seeing was 8GB! All I had to do was update the BIOS to recognize all the RAM, which was downloaded into ROM of the motherboard.
