i am genuinely really fed up with the fact that neither the classic doctor who dvds nor blu rays don’t include audio description tracks. i shouldn’t have to watch things i own on dvd via iplayer because thats the only accessible option for me that day.

anyway i do operate under the assumption everyone is queer until informed otherwise because i live a life of spite for the inherent homophobia in ‘dont assume theyre gay!!’ (that doesn’t quite make sense, whatever) but this person really is ticking all the flags.

the algo has started giving me posts by queer sports players wishing they had acceptance growing up and my heart breaks a little more every time i see someone else. especially when there was a 19yo wishing they’d had it in high school… theyre just a baby, shouldnt it be better by now.

started drafting a blog post in my head when i couldn’t use my phone yesterday. the problem is, i have severe memory loss as a chronic condition. so. yeh i have no idea what i wanted to write beyond the fact it tied round a quote.

i had an eye test. to noone’s surprise i need new (significantly stronger!) glasses. grateful i was able to do it but whenever these things come round its just a serious reminder of medical neglect that faces #pwME (esp severe ME) like me who are unable to keep up with appointments for years on end.

fellas is it weird to go “huh those two celebs have been together a lot in public looking affectionate perhaps theyre together” or is that simply normal human pattern recognition what *is* weird is sending one of those people abuse because you parasocially attached to the other person & got weird.

pain means contorting yourself into weird positions to try and stretch it but youre already hypermobile so youre basically malformed when you do and hope noone walks in on you looking like you’re possessed

i discovered you can change the images on serializd without being a paying member so i spent a while making it look nicer and im pleased with it (sorry about the awful alt im so tired)

glad this one’s over. sentiment was nice but the actual plot was meh. i liked the little nod to recognising the ood as valued members at the end.

listen. i love that the dude released the original song for heated rivalry. i do not love that its heated rivalry branded i have already had a fictional boyband in my wrapped i dont need the gay hockey show too (i joke)

the only thing cut off the review is that the shaking camera might mean i have to do audio description for the next because it hurt too much to focus on it. i was thinking after last episode that there aren't really any naff ones in the 10rose ones but i had forgotten about this story so...

for me this is one of those very middle of the road, enjoyable but nothing mindblowing episodes. some good lines & you get a strong 10rose relationship moment but it’s nothing particularly memorable.
