#FunFactFriday Some animals can sleep with one eye open! It’s called unihemisphereic slow-wave sleep, where only half the brain rests at a time. We see it in birds & marine mammals like seals! Seals & dolphins still surface for air while sleeping this way, and birds can even do it while flying! 🦆💤

#FunFactFriday Ever been side-eyed by a goat? 👀 Goats & other grazing animals have rectangular pupils! This gives them extra peripheral vision to detect danger. It also means they have bad depth perception head-on. So if a goat starts lookin at you sideways, that’s just its normal grazin gaze! 🐐
