Lucanis thinks Jae is quite a talented as a Crow if she's coming to save him, and sees her skill as they fight their way out of the Ossuary. The first witty humor she throws at him, he finds himself admiring her.

Jae's face scars that she got when she was thirteen made her feel like she was so ugly. She does her best to cover them with makeup and how she does her hair, so she takes a lot of time with her appearance.

Jae would rather die than not help her city so she chose Treviso. However, she deeply regrets not being able to help Dock Town and nightmares of a blighted Treviso happen frequently.

I'm worried if I do too many time skips in my pre-veilguard series, I'm going to miss something i want to do in later. I have so many small ideas in my brain of adventures with Jae growing up in House de Riva!

I played through every game back to back starting this time last year, it was hard not to fall in love with so many of them! Solas was the first character I fixated on and it was during the conversations about the Fade. Then I got to the Crows, and Viago's note to Rook. Love that grumpy Talon. ❤️‍🔥

Jae was told to sink or swim when training to be a Crow. She almost sank and Viago had to go in after her before she drowned. She's not a fan and now avoids water if it's too high. She can tread water, but since that first instance, she'd rather not swim at all.

Arlathan Forest was one of Jae's favorite places she's ever been. The first time she saw halla, she wanted to just watch them all day. They are one of her favorite animals. Plus, it was nice to be out of a city for a bit.

Jae'el just repeated words she heard around the alienage. Viago is constantly telling her to watch her language, though. How was she supposed to know 'shit' and 'ass' were bad words? As an adult, she still uses those, but uses elvish swears more out of habit from hiding it from Viago.

Ellana Lavellan physically aches when she uses the anchor, and using it as often as she does to close rifts, she is in constant pain. She can't help but remember all those nights Solas helped soothe the pain when he removed the arm in Trespasser.

Viago found Jae'el trying to pick his pockets when she came to Antiva to look for her father. After assuming correctly who her father could be, he reluctantly took her into House de Riva, worried that if any other Talon found out she was Zevran's, they'd kill her. She sees Viago as her only family.

Jae has always compared herself to the pretty slender, willowy elves and doesn't believe she meets those standards at all. She excels at fake confidence, though and wouldn't let anyone know she doesn't believe she's beautiful so they get a flashy smile and some flirty eyelash flutters.
