📈 New publication alert! Using data from #STAMPEDE and linked health system records, researchers assessed the long-term effects of #ProstateCancer treatment. Adding zoledronic acid to #ADT significantly reduced the risk of bone fractures in men with metastatic disease. 🔗 Paper: buff.ly/LHlYket

🎉 Recruitment is complete for the H-PRIME trial! The study compares high vs low doses of hydroxyurea for sickle cell disease in sub-Saharan Africa, without frequent lab tests. It also examines treatments for malaria & bacterial infections, major causes of early death. 🔗 Read more: bit.ly/4m4YcTQ

📈 Results from the BREATHER+ trial confirm that taking HIV medicines every day without breaks remains the best way to keep the virus under control in young people living with #HIV. These findings were presented today at the #IAS2025 @iasociety.bsky.social. 🔗 Read the full story:
