I just realized that if Trump seizes control of the Fed, the problem won't be just that he lowers rates inappropriately and encourages inflation, it'll be that he lowers *and* raises rates all in a willy-nilly manner as inflation starts to accelerate.

I’ve long assumed Trump to be lying about everything and frankly it’s been quite a time-saver.

I envision Trump posting ICE agents outside of polling stations for early voting and aggressively detaining and deporting people to discourage others from voting. When a suit is quickly filed, SCOTUS will delay a decision until after the election. Because they can move fast or slow; it's nuanced.
