While I'd love to be trad published, it seems far out of reach for me rn as an author publishing under a penname. I'm planning on going the serialized route with a couple of ideas, and then when they complete, I can publish the whole book as a complete package, while slowly building up an audience.

It can be. The human mind is capable of the most depraved acts thought possible. But that doesn't scare me. Because I know what the mind can do. I might not know the depths of it, but I know to expect it. But something that alters the mind? When the madness creeps in? That's when it gets scary.

This is one of those things that, should Dems eventually get back into power, they will treat as business as usual and fine to do if the Republicans don't catch enough hell for it while they're in power. And they'll act like they're too busy cleaning up the R mess to stop doing it.
