In Lexington MA today. About 2,000 or more. We had not heard the horrific news from MN, so it was joyful.

I attended an immigration hearing today. My non-legal take is that ICE is trying to claim “expedited removal” applies-so no due process. The judge said to ICE lawyer, “You can’t have it both ways.” The immigrant’s very presence before the court is due process. I don’t know the final ruling.

Today’s protest in Concord MA. A conservative estimate would be 800. This is at Monument Square where we marched after the speeches, so over half were still arriving.

Yesterday in Billerica MA. 205 of us. Lots of nearby protests: Lexington, Concord, Waltham, Boston, Stoneham, and others.

Went for a walk around Lexington Green at lunchtime. Bunches of tourists. Lots of resistance-themed t-shirts. A very organized protest among the 250 events tomorrow. Kind of special to be there today.
