One thing I'm finding useful right now is to not ask "what needs to be done" or "what are the problems," because that's too overwhelming, but instead to ask "what are my resources" and to focus on things that I'm uniquely suited to do. (1/?)

I am working on developing a story for a bardic competition. It is the story of Aravan, the son of Arjuna, from the Mahabharata. I figure now is a good time to tell historical stories that feature the transgender experience.

I re-read @guygavrielkay.bsky.social when I need to be relocated in my own skin. Today it is A Song for Arbonne. I think it's been a decade since I last cracked the cover. It holds up. The themes are not just infuriatingly relevant, but *timely*.
