Another thing that I love about AEW is that winning a title shot doesn't automatically mean "at the next PPV". They treat their TV like it's as important as PPV and put all sorts of marquee matches on Dynamite and Collision instead of just booking in a holding pattern between PPVs.

It doesn't actually matter that Hoffman made an error, or that Alvarez beat out a double play somehow. The #BlueJays have scored one run. Off the worst starting pitcher in baseball. You can't ask the pitching and defense to be perfect with zero run support nearly every game.

I know expecting Scherzer's first game back to be like Cease's was definitely asking too much, but the larger issue is that the Jays should be fully healthy within the next couple weeks. Then they're out of excuses. They need to start playing better in an extraordinarily winnable American League.

I give credit to Andrade El Idolo, he's a legitimate World title contender with movie star looks who can wrestle circles around people, but is also willing to go out and trade comedy bits with Orange Cassidy and Lio Rush because he knows what fans like to see. #AEWDynamite

One of the underrated benefits of AEW for me, after decades only watching WWE, was that it invited me to discover other wrestling companies around the world. I've seen some of the best of Japanese, Mexican, and European feds because AEW isn't afraid to showcase them on their programming.
