These were some of the best issues when I was a kid! I loved Puma such an underrated character that needed more developing! And Vermin was so controversial and one of the darkest characters ever to be used in Spider-Man, you felt sympathy for him, yet he was a cannibal. Crazy stories!

All season Daredevil: BA escalated the war between Fisk & Matt, but the finale worked because Matt chose grace over revenge. Even after Fisk unleashed chaos, Matt still stopped the mob from killing him. Did that choice make the ending stronger for you…or should Fisk have finally paid the full price?

Really enjoyed Ellis’ Moon Knight—great sense of Marc’s different voices, but felt like I came in midstream. Sounds like Lemire is next, so that’s my Shabbat reading. Diving into Moon Knight by Jeff Lemire. What should I read after?

Feels like Wilson Fisk finally breaking in Daredevil this wk. Chokes Karen Page… stops. With Heather, you expect it, but he holds back. Daniel dying protecting Bibi hit hard. Matt flipping Matt Murdock’s “hero” narrative on Fisk was a great turn. Heather/Karen got clumsy, but that slap says it all.

Just saw the Clayface teaser—leans hard into body horror and a darker Feat of Clay take from BAS. Very psychological, very unsettling. Fits Gunn’s “Gods and Monsters.” Could be a real monster movie this October. If DC pulls this off, what should be next?

The Invincible finale stuck with me. The violence still hits, but this episode is about trauma. Mark carries the war, nearly dying, destroying the Viltrumite planet—and that fear of Thragg is real. Sometimes it’s not good vs evil. It’s bad vs worse. What was your take?

Shabbat reading: finally diving into Moon Knight. After a recommendation, starting with From the Dead (Ellis/Shalvey). Only knew him from Spidey crossovers like Round Robin. What’s the definitive Moon Knight run?

The first two episodes of Maul: Shadow Lord are stunning. The classic animation style and darker tone make this feel more like a crime saga than a typical Star Wars story. Maul rebuilding power in the underworld is a great angle.

Episode 4 is where Born Again clicks. Opening with Dex and his warped “hero” mindset was a great move. Fisk feels untouchable… until Vanessa. If she’s off the board, the guardrails are gone.
