Imagine being born in slavery and living up until 5 months before the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Anna Julia Cooper is one of my favorite people in history. She was born on August 10, 1858, and lived to the age of 105. I can't sum her up in a single post, but she was born 167yrs ago today
