One Bone Tyrant bites the dust, and another Hag rises.

I'm happy to report that I'm back to normal after my concussion. I've just written a banger chapter complete with a Fullmetal Alchemist reference and several goofy jokes. I'm back on top! :D

Bonked the back of my head pretty hard last night and lightly bit my tongue. Sad to report I'm taking the day off from writing, as my brain seems to be, at least temporarily, scrambled.

Leftover pizza for breakfast, half a chapter written already, and a very clean house. Not a bad start to the day. Now if only it could be like 20 degrees cooler and raining, it would be perfect.

I try to keep my chapters around 1,000 words and with a nice consistent flow, while remembering my ABC's (Always Be Cliffing) but sometimes (like today) I look up from a fight scene and find that I've suddenly written 3,000 words.

Wanted to highlight this review I received on Audible. It's not the most positive review in the world, but some thought and effort clearly went into it. So I wanted share/say that I appreciate each person who listens to Self-Necromancy and spends their precious time writing a thoughtful review.

It's been awhile since I posted about it, (been busy with life, being sick, and my first audiobook) but the final book in Traveller's Trilogy is just over 45% finished as of today. Hoping to release it later this year!

Sometimes I stress about errors and grammar, finding even a minor issue, or a comma in the wrong place can seriously irritate me. But you know what? 10-15 errors in a book that's over 100k words, that's not bad. I'll always wish the number is zero errors, but 10-15 is realistically less than 1%

One of the things about being a full-time writer is that you don't really get a day off. Creative brain not working? Tired? In pain? Didn't sleep well? Words have to go down somehow, edits have to be completed and the business managed. Sometimes, I miss when it was just a fun hobby.
