I was very lucky to be a Magic-obsessed 13-year-old when I was. Cataloging cards today: oh, Snap is $8? I must have twenty of those. Survey says:

I'm going to give it a day for Arena Champs 10 final standings to appear so I can get some names right, but after that I've got a tranche of 42 events, 35.8k matches ready to upload. It's been a busy weekend. ^_^;

Oh right, new format. I need to update some json files when I add AC10 or I'll break the site...

Looks like it's 13 RC sides and 21 SCGCON 10Ks to gather. Then there's some events in Europe and Japan, then I'll start thinking about NRG, then ...

It took a month, but www.mtgeloproject.net is updated! This update adds 16 events (RCs, major RC side events, Worlds, EW EU legacy) and about 26,000 matches. @SethManfield is #1 again, and is back over 2300; the top 5 ratings are all players who made top 8 at Worlds. More soon!

Curating update: JP ✔ EU ✔ USA ✔ still need to do CAN, email corrections (of which there are... several), and Worlds (which will be part of this update because it'll take ten minutes after the finals finish).

Still waiting. If you wonder why these events aren't on the site yet, I haven't been able to start curating them, stream or no stream. I'll try to blitz EU+CA+JP in my own time, but we're still doing US on camera later this week.

No final standings yet so we'll have to postpone this for when they do appear. Tomorrow is out for me, if somehow they're up by Sunday we'll do it then, otherwise the night next week when they're first available.

I have never done this before, but I'm planning to stream the curation process for RC Vegas. Tentatively planning to do this on Friday, but it will depend on whether the final standings appear on magic.gg, because they are needed. If they aren't present, then it'll have to be next week.

I'm starting work to gather data from post-pandemic 10Ks. This will take some time, but the gears are turning. First up are the main side event/RCQ from each US RC, since next cycle we'll have limited qualifiers at all the RCs to do (yes, they'll all be for Elo, assuming I can get the data!).

Apologies for delaying the Elo update -- we were going to put Melbourne + Baltimore out this morning, but Liverpool standings appeared on magic dot gg, so I'm going to finish curating that and add it to the payload.

Dumb question: can someone teach me how to start from www.spicerack.gg and, via a series of links, wind up at the tournament page for the Laughing Dragon 20K held last weekend?

Friday routine: spamming F5 on the magic.gg event archive page, waiting for final standings from last weekend's events to appear. (All set to finish SS Baltimore and RC Melbourne as soon as I have real names to work with!)

Here's the leaderboards had this existed in 2023 (when @yellowhat.bsky.social led the way at 17-6-1) and 2024 (when @simonnielsenmtg.bsky.social put up a 20-4!). Top 16 was a clean cut at 42MP in 2023, but the 45s went down to 18th place in 2024. Both years 1+ person was top 16 without all 8 drafts.

I count myself as among the winners of this Standard format... probably won't have to budget too much time to get the GP curated next weekend.

Insane work week means I haven't started work on EW curating yet, but I will be curating them. Can someone do the legwork of finding me a completed version of this bracket? Did they ever put it up on stream or something? Sometimes I get post-SF bracket from stream + watch finals for its game score.
