My own mom said the other day that she thinks all ndns are predisposed to alcoholism through genetics and that's kind of just the aching generational pain I get to be blessed with. Not all of us are able to live with pride and I think it's important to remember that.

I keep seeing posts that are like "I'm not everything I wanna be yet but I'm a lot of things I wanted to be 2 years ago" and I thought I couldn't say that until I realized 2 years ago all I wanted to be was safe. I'm safe now so I guess that means I'm working on it.

I think I'm good now. A lot of my self worth is back and it sucks that I had to have another lesson about caring for the wrong people but I think I'm better off now. I'm in a much better position to love myself and I think I can return to doing the things I love soon. One day at a time.

I can't tell if I'm taking on so much stress that I'm losing my grip or if my reverse seasonal depression is kicking in but I can't believe I'm about to quit this job a few weeks in just because I'm not strong enough to fake it anymore.
