I feel bluesky may be the only place that has developers who care about this answer Are there any tools out there that radically simplify building PWA's? Wasn't sure if
@bell.bz
would know of some. I really don't want to go down the expo route and use react native for a mobile app, would love pwa

Oh the internal agony of this cycle: think I must have a good idea to make money -> no one wants the idea -> think I need a better idea -> get fed up and just need to make money -> slightly begin the process -> start trying to find the best idea again -> realize no one wants it -> and on and on

Can we get people responding to bring awareness of work people are doing around cancer? Experimental places Tech advances Anything else like this 1) trying to find places for friends 2) just feels a big lack of awareness of what is being done around it (maybe just me)

The coffee paradox for aging adults As a 20 year old we crushed energy drinks, coffee, etc. People even tried filtering coffee with red bull. You could still be tired & in bed by 1030 As an aging adult with kids & sleep deprived, having coffee after 11 keeps me up til 3am š¤·āāļø

Alright Case Study 1 is up. A lot of conversations I have with people are in a southern evangelical context and so spirituality, the bible, God, sin and so on will come up in many of these case studies. This one is on anxiety and helping a friend in it

What are the best writing tools that my friends who love to write have found? I find nothing satisfies and yet I don't know what I am looking for. Feels like it would have options for: - parallel documents - document storage and references - search - canvas for sketching / notes - timer for focus

If you predict AI will write all software in 6 months every 6 months eventually you will probably be right and then ego will drive you to say "I told you so." But what a silly thing to hold to rather than helping people advance in everyway

So much of my web dev life could have been sped up if I serious design, like
@bell.bz

Thread on progress after reading half of The Progress Principle Progress is, in my mind, becoming one of the clearest metrics of health in individuals. Progress as referenced in the book is in line with work people do. But it is much much bigger than that. And I think we see it by is inverse

For writers and authors: Taking Kathy Sierra's "what if the previous page vanishes" idea for how to maintain forward flow What if that idea was combined with Ted Nelson's parallel pages idea? I am just genuinely curious where this thought process could go.

This is a big deal to me. Along with this comes a lot of "byproduct" investing in the unjs ecosystem. Nitro also is known for its vast amount of deployment targets so this could very well be the beginning of Vercel opening Nextjs to being deployed to a variety of places

One of life's greatest difficulties is speaking about something incredibly meaningful and helpful to you, knowing others could benefit, but getting blank stares in return or it being brushed off as nbd You can't expect people to have your enthusiasm but man finding the "you too" people is hard
