i think there's a looooooooot that can be dissected from the scene in jax's mind and i only ever see people boil it down to one thing. it's insanely complex and layered and i need someone to do the deepest dive of it ever.

Comments like this also completely leave out poor Zooble - someone who’s nonbinary and therefore trans adjacent - who is unambiguously a good person and usually seen as positive trans rep. Jax can be seen as a contrast to Zooble, who navigates their gender identity in a healthier, more mature way.
