Forgot to post these yesterday. I'm trying to workshop a signature chocolate chip cookie that I can share with family and friends. This was a fantastic batch, but I already have some tweaks I want to make for next time!

I want the job where I can read game descriptions/dialogue and find/correct all the errors. Like this one in PLZA.

These will set in the fridge overnight. Some will go in the freezer for later, and some will be baked!!

Gonna bake something while watching the new ep of Great British Baking Show so I can feel like a contestant. 🤣

7 hours later, I finished my first attempt at making homemade macarons! The pink were the first batch, and they weren't quite right, so I had to try again. It went better in the second batch with the green ones!! 🩷💚

Desserts: Dutch apple, and pumpkin pie!

Sides: Roasted brussel sprouts w/ bacon and balsamic vinegar, stuffing, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.

When I was 15 I made a friend/penpal basically due to loving the same books. Before 2020 we'd send each other packages every year on our b-days w/ goodies (hers from Canada, mine from US) and a book. This was our first year after COVID starting that back up again! 🤍🤍

I'm making tiktoks of recipes I'm pulling from fandom related cookbooks. The last 2 weekends have been dedicated to Stardew Valley. Anyway, I'm normally a 'clean as I go' kind of cook, so this is only part of the mess that remains after today's recipe. 😅
