It’s been a long time (2 years! 🫣) since I’ve got final girl to the table. It’s one of those ones where I just wish it was a bit less bitty and faffy. It’s so thematic and so fun but it’s a slog to set up.

I am honestly just loving this game. So quick and simple but the variety between maps is pretty fun!

A classic review episode … normal service has resumed and I’m here for it! 😊. My weekly commute is Wednesday this week… so that’s when I’m saving it for!

The game we ended up playing today (out of the 12 I brought with me) was think words (tapple). We played without the timer (low stress) and we played with our own categories. My brother in law asked to play it 3 times in a row. He’s looking forward to playing at home on “advanced” (timer) mode 😊

My bro in law had a serious ax last month; suffered brain injury. I’m visiting 2mro. although he wont recognise me (only remembers I like snooker), I hope 2 play a light game of cards or dominos or something so that play can bring a bit of light to a horrendous time. Any v. light game suggestions?

Clank legacy 2. Done. ✔️ 12 games in 2 months, about 40 hours of play to celebrate my 40th birthday. It was a delight. All the mixed reviews I’ve read make sense - valid. For me- I enjoyed the things they tried and the notes from legacy #1 feedback.

Can’t beat a game of Azul. Honestly 4 player is so different to 2 players!

Mid way through clank legacy 2, game 4. I love it; I just need (a) a banquet table (b) a lot of time (c) to stay in the mindset of it being an adventure story / exploration so it doesn’t “feel” like the game is constantly being interrupted. About 10 hours in since sunday. 💜

Ever sold a game before playing it? why? I did today, for the first time. sold 7th citadel. It delivered about 2 years late and it was at a similar time to other campaign games arriving. I didn’t want the stress of looking at a few sealed games knowing I won’t realistically get to all of them.
