My general writing circle is weird since I spend more time on alts checking out new places, due to the calendar. Primarily, I've seen my alts getting cold shouldered right after answering "no, sorry" to getting asked about Mare usage decrease considerably. This is the most direct change for me.

Our little Buscarron's project keeps my week moving some times. Discovering three new folk's stories, a former coeurlclaw, a lady accosted by some sort of new beast in North Shroud, and a down in their luck fisher having had their lucky lure stolen. Their creativity is a breath of fresh air.

Personality is the sort of thing you're going to be dealing with the most, so that is where I start. Are they angry at the world, are they a kind gentle soul, or are they a ball of anxiety? Start with that, then work backwards, what made them that way, from that you start to build out the rest.

Absolutely speculating here because I'm not a geologist or volcanologist but Worqor Zormor looks so much like a volcanic plug (like Bear Lodge/Devil's Tower in Wyoming) that I can't help but think that long ago it was part of an EVEN BIGGER volcanic structure.

I am rather glad that so many people seemed to love my silly little cosplay bit at the #DragonCon2025 Sprout Social.

The hilarious thing about a post going around is I don't actually use mods. We just thought it'd be hilarious to see the reactions. Seeing the responses to other people posting my loading bar is telling me it was a perfect thing to do for DragonCon.

Caterwauling comes to mind. He's not bad when he works at it.

Back in the day this would have been perfect prompt for the Zhwan siblings. Erah'sae (gladiator) as a charge type. Sana (thaumaturge) as a zone control type. Nefzen (rogue) as a fast combo/pressure type. Their story mode would be them regaining the acceptance of their kin after leaving the Shroud.

I'm thinking, reading the timeline, after DragonCon, it might be good for me to actually post my collection of low risk openers. Things I use for sticking my nose in other people's stories. That and other tactics I use for roleplaying while fighting off my own social anxiety issues.

Nefzen and I, in our first month of roleplaying, stumbled across someone named West in Ul'dah that said their group was doing this annual pub crawl. We wandered through almost every open world pub in Eorzea with a bunch of ice breakers and games along the way. That started a decade long journey.

Erah'sae loves poetry. Some of his attempts at writing it would likely be best enjoyed by a species who arrive in ships that hang in the air the war bricks don't. His later stuff is getting better but still pretty bad.

They would probably utterly fail to understand the relationship between Erah'sae and Jhansi. There have already been people that ship them. (No...please. Just... No. ) They'd probably get his complicated relationship with the Shroud wrong as well.

Erah'sae trusts Allagan technology not at all and Magitek even less. Then you get whatever this is. He knows just enough that every one of those colors presented is some sort of warning sign. He's not going anywhere near it, nor the fried oreos. There are probably turkey legs somewhere, however.
