Four hours later and the Startlight Market is starting to wind down a little, but still going fairly strong. Still several dozen people out here with their stories interacting. It has been a brilliant night. Thank you to everyone who decided to come out and have your stories interact with ours.

A few folks have opened up stalls with people hawking wares. Role-players are starting to slowly filter in. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you all out and about tonight.

Healer to White Mage 4?

I've been playing around with this off and on for a while now. A nifty little project from those that make the teamcraft tool so many of us have been using in FFXIV for so many years now. It's worth giving it a try if you like casual crafting and gathering.

There is a certain joy with my home wifi ssid and password being a pun. A joy on hearing my wife groan every time she forgets it and I remind her. Then a moment of thanks that she has put up with my garbage for so long.

At Buscarron's last night, I got to watch some fresh faces wander in to do low level questing a few stopping in shock before carrying on but some stayed and joined in. Watching their chat style evolve as the night went on. Seeing them find their stride and their characters voice was as a treat.

Starting Day 4 and over 250 small-sized fish have be caught and recorded! No Ruby Dragons qualified this morning, with only 1 window left during the derby. There's also some difficulty fish coming up. Will the fishing community be able to get these rare small fish?! #FFXIV

Daylights Savings Time is a special sort of hell. Please remember to have have some extra kindness for your folks running events, especially if they're in places with different DST rules then you are. We should all just switch to UTC, then we'd know when everything is... eventually.

Today is a new one. A submission to the RP Event Calendar with the URL being the listing on one of the other services. One I usually redirect people to when they submit things that don't belong on the RP Event Calendar. ... I wonder if this is one of the ones I directed there in the first place.

In about an hour and a half from the time of this post, at 7PM US Eastern, over on the Materia Data Center (all can data center visit to join) the Museum network is having a pun-fulled murder mystery. Hopefully I'll see some of you there. Personally, I'm suspicious of Count Par-Wrasse. #FFXIV

I've heard Erah'sae pronounced in so many different ways sometimes I forget what the original pronunciation was. I always assume other characters pronounce it correctly unless someone specifically accents it weird. I've yet to actually run into another Erah'sae in person, though.

Erah'sae would feature in some sort of survival/horror game where he's both trying to survive in the depths of a forest that wants to eat him while evade family that wants to keep him there. A low powered dark souls-esque game focused on escape instead of "winning" the fights.

There is so much going on in the FFXIV RP community all the time. It can create a sense of fatigue, always moving from one event to the next. Sometimes it is good to let the the characters sit and their stories develop in the quieter moments between.
