Erah'sae appears really generous but it is mostly that he has no real concept of the term "personal property". If he doesn't have plans to use a thing, he may as well let it be put to use. He will also appropriate just about anything that has gone unused without asking unless it has a proper name.

Fanfest approaches. I'll have a Erah'sae sticker to exchange with art by the brilliant @pixelpeony.bsky.social. Unfortunately I botched my new ribbons, so I'll just have my FFXIV ribbons and stickers from DragonCon with me as well instead of fresh ones. Hope to see some of you cats there.

The WoL is too big, too much of a fixture for the stories I enjoy writing. I far prefer the smaller stories of the setting. The stories of the ones left in the wake of the main events. The little tragedies that get forgotten when the godlike powers clash.

In a serious answer I'd like paladins burst to be reworked into a more interactive chain than repeating the same button some more shield based attacks would be brilliant.

My hope is that Paladin will get a new proper finisher to their existing during their burst window. Sword -> Sworda -> Sworder -> Swordest -> Swordaga, Sword will be joined by a 10 second cast time Zeta Swordflare finisher. Not really, but it would be funny.

I just realized I'm not going to make it back to Buscarron's until after fanfest due to RL obligations. I'm already getting withdrawal twitches. Maybe, maybe I can sneak in late tonight.

One day, I really hope people learn that civility should be the baseline. Especially when making requests from another person. Whoever it was, try again without the profanity. I didn't bother to pay attention to who or what it was about before deleting. I'm sorry or congratulations, I guess?

LRT: I do still I think I've still got many years of being proactively loud left in me. That said, sometimes I just really want a good sandwich while I let other people be loud around me while I can be part of their supporting cast.

May or may not be able to make it to Buscarron's tonight due to a combination of patently spring break duties and other non-game stuff you all don't need to be burdened with healing. But I hope you all have a brilliant go at carrying on with the role-play if I don't get to see you lot tonight.

Throughout history, many methods of divination have been devised. From cards and tea leaves to intestines and flight patterns of birds. You wouldn't think it is a field one can still innovate, but I'm creating a system based on the flick of cat ears. It's not finished, but I enjoy the research.

There are a number of places, some of them fairly well known, like Buscarron's or the rock East of Fallgourd Float overlooking the river. Some less so like the cave overlooking the ruins North of Tailfeather. Mostly he simply exists. Sometimes leaving figures carved from nearby dead-fall behind.

An interview with one of the first people I had the pleasure of roleplaying with I'm FFXIV. Can't wait to get a chance to listen to it tomorrow.

Other players weren't too far off the mark when they nicknamed Erah'sae "calico". The eyes reminded me of someone from my past who is long gone and, if I had a picture, or sny8ne knew who she was, one be on one of his inspiration charts.

Something, I must admit... I've never played Pokemon. Ever. But this green bird with the attack eyebrows you all keep posting art of... I'm becoming invested in. I imagine it has a persona modeled after Peter Capaldi's Doctor.

I am so tired of waking up to historical events that should have never happened.

Also, if I've left your community discord, it's not you, it's discord. I've dropped about 50 discord servers in the last week to try and get under the not having nitro limit.

FFXIV has way too many RP hub discords, much less event discords. I have 30 more I need to remove before I can join new servers to check on weird things for event calendar updates. This leaves me with -just- the hub / open world discords.

Given the news about discord and the like, I'm seriously considering making an IRC bot analogue for the FFXIV RP Event Calendar Discord bot.

Watching my daughter and her friends explore FFXIV has been abjectly terrifying in some ways, but an absolute joy in many others.

While my plans for turning 50 did not involve being iced in, the interview last night was a good end cap to a decade well spent. Today enjoyed failing to catch big fish, gaming with family, and got my daughter playing FFXIV again earlier as a bonus. I need to keep this up another 50 years. Cheers.
