I hate it here

Trying to deal with an automated phone tree with a speech impediment is horrible. My speech isn’t *that* bad but having to repeat myself 3-5 times (on a good day) before they’ll allow me to speak to anyone is humiliating and infuriating. Happy Monday to everyone but operations efficiency “experts”.

Being from Seattle I have only one NBA wish - I need the Thunder to lose. Any way will do.

Starting off the weekend with a clean biopsy - good news is so confusing (but I’m not turning it down)

Finished 2 over easy eggs this morning - unfortunately a small amount of pepper was on the plate so they tasted bitter and kind of gross (like 3 flakes of black pepper is now enough to ruin the flavor of anything). Whatevs, still the most normal food I’ve eaten in over 2 years.

Apparently someone bought myrecipes.com and wiped it out. 20+ years of recipes are gone. Don’t trust the internet, kids.

Over a year of tube feedings was annoying, another year of drinking the SAME thing 3-4x’s/day also annoying, possibly more so.

Why is Black Friday 6 weeks long now?

I am a very grown woman (55) who lost her mother this July and is marking 2 years with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. I sobbed like a baby at breakfast yesterday (I can’t eat food, thanks cancer, so it was just coffee). I just want to go back.

I’ve quit both Twitter and TikTok this year. I have so much to be thankful for (but I have a lot of spare time now)
