It takes some creative problem solving, but even details builds can be done on a budget. As you can see about half of the material was from my stash and half was purchased for this build. Saving and using scraps, thrifting material, repurposing wigs, it all helps reduce cost #cosplaymakers

Cosplayers are shape shifters 😂. Who are these divas? It’s me! Really excited to continue growing and competing. I had a bad experience when I first started competing in 2017/2018 and took a long break from it. I have grown and started competing again last November and again this March.

I checked out a baby con and debuted my Wizardmon cosplay. I competed and was bumped from novice to win best master 😭❤️ i am excited to continue upgrading him and bring him to a larger con to compete at the journeyman level!

Dumb problems require dumb solutions. The main cape is too heavy for the capelet to support on its own. The solution? A clasp sewn in vertically. One half of the clasp is sewn to the cape and the other is sewn to the outside of the vest. This distributes the weight from my neck to my shoulders.

Today I found about 5yards of purple velvet (velvet not crushed velvet) for $6 and 1 yard of pink brocade for $3. Both were found hanging in the linens section. #secondhandfabric #cosplay

With the demise of Joann’s, there’s lots of recs of WHERE to shop online for fabric but not HOW. I highly rec The Swatch Book and Textilepedia for this — the former with REAL swatches of common fibers and their weave options and the latter for the language and application options to help search.

My dog has decided that she does not poop on ice. Unfortunately our front yard, back yard, and neighbors yards are all ice. I wanna be annoyed, but I also won’t poop on ice 🤷‍♀️

When #GSD owners say these dogs are too smart for their own good this is what we mean. My dog was mad at me for making her come inside to warm up her toes. So she waited until I had ONE contact in to strike. She stole a TP roll and no matter what I did I could only see out of one eye 😂
