Vivian stares into a small book of cards she’s collected from artists who have sold in her shop. She tosses down two. “Welp, that’s 4 months of no updates.”

Vivian was asleep in her shop. As much as she was dedicated to her work, she never seemed to take breaks. Stress was making her more and more tired, even on the days when there were no customers.

Vivian was distracted on her phone as she was open on a holiday. “C’mon! Momma needs a second win for that diamond Amy skin!”

With the shop all set, a small Christmas set up surrounded the walls of the art store. Vivian was busy in the back room contemplating killing her boss as she found an elf costume with a form-fitting dress.

Vivian was curled up by the employee only door, sitting under the small paintings she usually told for cheap. The small bear kept feeling smaller with each guest that entered her shop from a different world. Like she’d be able to afford telling someone that though…

Vivian closed her shops door, heading off towards the city to get some food. She shivered and rubbed her arms, trying to fight the cold. A little sign in the window says the store will be open again in 2 hours.

Dude I really need a depression diagnosis….

“RRRAH!” Vivian barely managed to wedge a crowbar into a box in front of her store. Now she dangles a few feet above the ground trying to use her entire body weight to open the wood box.

(… working retail for the holidays and moving apartments is a very stressful thing to do… Im sorry for what I said when I was very tired…)

Vivian was staring out the window, watching as she flicked the open sign on and off curiously to see if it would catch anyone’s attention from the street.

The bear sat out front her shop, shivering as she waited on a delivery. She seemed very tired. “Come on. Where’s the winter pieces? I can’t be selling small paintings again…”

Vivian was staring out the window behind her. The day hadn’t been that busy, but she was annoyed that it was the holidays.

The bear was just dancing to her radio beside the register. “🎶Stop picking on me, because I’m a geek~” Either keep watching or let her know you’re there. “🎶I’m strange to you. You’re strange to me~”

“Let me get the door.” The bear pressed a switch on her desk, unlocking the glass door to allow the customers inside.

An hour away from casino night zone where the trees start coming into view is a small shack with what looks like two paintbrushes sharing a handle and “art for the heart” written below. It’s clear the building hadn’t been loved, but it didn’t seem older than a decade. The sign says open.

(Seriously, a real great artist deserving of a lot of love.)
