I have long believed California should ban virtually all non-native species, with some specific exceptions for agriculture. The data shows non-native species are a major contributor to wild fires here.

Processing acorn by hand is slow and a TON of work, but satisfying. I did some machinery tests in late December for cracking and cleaning the nuts and then did the rest of the process by hand. This is California's most perfect native food.
