Nearly a year ago, on January 30th, @s-for-sprinkles.bsky.social was allowed to reveal the full design of #hylics 2's cut character, Instar. These sprites were completely wiped from H2's files and had to be given by Mason directly. Thus, January 30th is international Instar day!!

The first trailer for #hylics 2 shows Decres dancing with Old Wayne in what seems to be the Afterlife. This terrain was identified by @s-for-sprinkles.bsky.social as being here in the final game's Afterlife.

Ambulant Skulls, the instant-killing overworld enemies from #hylics 1 originate from one of Mason's previous games, Weird Egg and Crushing Finger. They act similarly, approaching beings and instantly killing them upon contact. In WEaCF they come in 3 visual variants.

Some of the song files in the original #hylics have otherwise-unseen album art in their metadata (the data in a sound file that also includes the title and artist.) It's very low resolution.
